JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will run the day to day functions of the HR
department, reporting to the Senior HR Manager this role will include
but not be limited to: Recruiting and interviewing staff members,
manage the payroll process, employee benefits, annual leave
entitlement, recruitment, and related employee support, and enforcing
company policies and practices.
* Interview and complete the recruitment process of qualified job
applicants for open company positions; work together with department
managers to understand the skills and competencies required for roles
and drafting job descriptions.
* Lead recruitment methods for seasonal workers each year.
Representing company through promoting the roles at job fairs, build
the network of university and website advertising, monitor and coach
the business recruiters on interview techniques, complete references
and liaise with candidates on logistical and accommodation issues.
* Responsible for all aspects of payroll with an external provider,
including compliance, benefits, pension administration, attendance
records, and processing of monthly and bi-monthly payroll.
* Issue and update employee contracts and records, and other
compliance aspects of recruitment and company policies
* Organise onboarding for new hires and employee recognition
programs including the companies work anniversaries announcement.
* Complete routine tasks required to perform and run human resource
programs such as compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary
matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent
management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health
and safety; and training and development.
* Manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees,
and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive issues accordingly
to the appropriate staff.
* Be present and participate in employee disciplinary meetings,
terminations, and investigations.
* Regularly update knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management,
and employment law.

This position will initially be remote to start but will be located in
the Limerick office.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and
confidentiality at all times
* Detailed knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
including GDPR and other data protection regulations.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proficient using ATS, ideally Workable.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of Irish payroll is a distinct
advantage
* Attend and represent the client at university job fairs and
recruit seasonal employees.
* Willingness to develop knowledge and running HR responsibilities
in other European countries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
field required.
* 2/3 years of HR experience is preferred.
* Experience and knowledge of work permits is an advantage.
* CIPD recognised qualification or HR certification desired.
